PANDEMONIUM

The group was originally formed during the autumn of 1989 under the name PANDEMONIUM. The founders were PAUL (guitar, vocal) and PETER (percussion) who was also called ZUBER. During that time there were no music bands of this nature in Poland and in the West there was only SAMAEL, CELTIC FROST and BATHORY. The lack of such bands was the reason why they gained so many fans. In December of 1990 PANDEMONIUM registered its first material which was recorded in the hall of rehearsals, Reh Tape. It contains four recordings, three of them were original compositions by PANDEMONIUM, and the fourth being a cover of SAMAEL “Into the Pentagram”. The material was recorded with the participation of a bassist, SIMON, who later became a regular member of the group. As a trio PANDEMONIUM gave many gigs all over the country, also in Switzerland. There was a great deal of talk and many articles written about the group. After several concerts PANDEMONIUM became one of the most popular bands in Poland right next to KAT, IMPERATOR and VADER. The end result was a contract with CARNAGE Records.

The band’s first officially published material was a demo called “Devilri”. It was recorded in Olsztyn, during the winter of 1992. The six songs that the album contained took on an almost religious characteristic for many people. The tens of thousands of copies sold made it the best selling demo in the world, which was a great achievement in those days. A huge advertising campaign further aroused people’s interest in PANDEMONIUM. After the next round of concerts it was high time they recorded a full-length album. At the time SIMON, the bassist, left the band and the support of their producers CARNAGE came to an end. They signed a new bassist, JACK, was from the Plock group HAZAEL, and BARON Records filled the void that CARNAGE left. Composed in this manner, PANDEMONIUM entered the Warsaw studio IZABELIN and recorded “The Ancient Catatonia”.

That time brought many changes, ZUBER has died KAROL from IMPERATOR took over drums… PANDEMONIUM gained a second guitarist, QUACK, from the Warsaw group HATE. The whole album was published in 1994 and had a premiere in Zabrze at the music festival METALMANIA, where such bands as MORBID ANGEL, SAMAEL, and CANNIBAL CORPSE performed. This concert was the culminating point for the whole existence of PANDEMONIUM.

A few months later as Domain, the group entered a studio in Lodz to record new material under the title “Pandemonium”. MORBID NOIZZ Records published the album, which came out at the end of 1995 and was the last material the group recorded during that period. Troubles with the composition of the group forced PAUL to suspend the band’s activities. Three years passed then PAUL got a call from his old pal Mittloff from HATE. “What do you think about reactivating DOMAIN?” Mittloff asked. That’s how the material for the new album “From Oblivion” originated. The title considers the whole confusion with PANDEMONIUM and DOMAIN. “… From Oblivion…” was recorded in the Warsaw studio SERAKOS by PAUL (guitar, vocal), Mittloff (percussion), MIKE (bass), and DOMINIC (second guitar). The album was released in March of 2000 edited by APOCALYPSE Productions. The bands first concert since reactivation took place in club Riff-Raff in Lodz.

After a few months DOMINIC left the group and V-AC took his place. With that make-up they toured Poland together with CHRIST AGONY and SUPREME LORD…

During the spring of 2002 DOMAIN entered studio SERAKOS yet again to record a sensational new album “GAT ETEMMI” which features guest appearances by Robert Srzednicki (keyboards) and Ewa Frakstein (angelvoice). The album was highly valued even by old fans of PANDEMONIUM, though a considerable amount of electronic sounds.

After a little break PAUL decided to record a new material. The Band finally changed its name back for PANDEMONIUM. No more DOMAIN, PANDEMONIUM has come back on the stage. It was not a simple continuation of the group..s previous achievements, but a natural evolution rather, following Gat Etemmi with dark industrial influences sound. The new material was released in November 2004, titled – “The Zonei” that met with very positive opinions in metal zines. A new stage of Pandemonium existance brings some musical and personal changes. PAUL and MIKE remain from the old constitution, MARK succeeds to sampler, synth and a second guitar… Pandemonium was on the Tour with Behemoth and Frontside, Mystic Production was the organizer and album producer.

Some time has passed and PANDEMONIUM started to compose a new material. This time new conception has appeared – back to roots following glamorous times of an old school of black/death metal from “Devilri” and a power of “Gat Etemmi”. New drummer and bass guitarist (Simon and Michael from NIHILIST, ALIENACJA ) joined the band which played lots of gigs in Polish clubs and took part as the headliner in prestigeous fests like MAAGAL FEST, STRASHYDELKO, BLACKSTOCK , MYSTIC FESTIVAL (WITH SUCH A BANDS LIKE SLAYER ,CELTIC FROST, BEHEMOTH). All gigs met with a great welcoming from fans as well as new songs that were presented. “Hellspawn” has been recorded in Serakos Studio with Mystic Productions as a producer. The band also made a clip to “Hypnotic Dimesion” which is included into new album.

Herfst has always been about synergy.

Ever since H e r f s † was summoned from the abyss in 1999, an organic fusion of metallic elements has been the essence of the music. While composing straight from their dark hearts, the morbid material H e r f s † delivers also honours the illustrious pallbearers of black, death, thrash and horror metal. With this combination of old and new, H e r f s † are sure to leave their black marks on stages throughout Europe.

After numerous line-up changes H e r f s † seem to have found a truly necrotic synergy. Founding member Bram delivers most of the melodies on his 7-string mind and guitarist Christophe churns out the tight rhythmic bile that accompanies them. Bassist Kurt spews forth the pulsations from the beyond, while Ruben hammers away on his unholy drum kit. Void is responsible for the vocal torment but is fed up with performing live. Dietwin joins the deathcult in february 2009 and consolidates the line-up with his passionate and skilful delivery.

The band takes pride in their work and tries to make each live performance a memorable one. H e r f s † have shared stages with great acts such as In Quest, Scarve, Anorexia Nervosa, Horna, Thanatos, Thurisaz, Vital Remains, Textures, Behemoth, …

The new record

the band is proud to announce the birth of a new era ànd line-up by recording Necrotica at the Split Second Studios (Textures, Kingfisher Sky, In Quest, the Lucifer Principle)

N e c r o t i c A is their most varied, their darkest, their most adventurous and rich endeavour to date. It features textured atmospheres, layered guitars, intricate melodies, skilled soloing, extensive horror lyrics and of course a tight and powerful production. H e r f s † hopes you will like these 8 new tracks, hopes give them all a thorough listen and welcomes you to one of the shows. Rock and roll!

Deprecation was formed in 2009 in Austria by Luki as an one-man project. The musical style is hard to describe, because it contains very different and untypical elements and doesn’t follow any strict rules. Generally it is a mix of Death and Black-Metal and Accoustic-Guitar music with Progressive influences.
On March 1st the first album “Death and Misanthropy” was released. This record contains 12 very different and diversified tracks. The total runtime is about 68 minutes. The album is a self production. Three tracks, which are definitely more Black-orientated, contain Guest-vocals of 2 musicians: The screams on “Mystical Shine” and “Dark Rain” are by Noctar from the Austrian Black-act “Schwarzkristall”, the vox on the opener-track “About Suicide” are from Dominik R. which runs the Progressive-Metal project “Briongloid”. All other vocals, which are more Death-Metal like are done Luki.
Deprecation’s lyrics on “Death and Misanthropy” are primary about Death, Hate and Misanthropy but also about Evil Mights and Depressions. Some songtexts are very critical against many problems, for example the destructive and egoistic human-way of life.
Two songs, which style is very inspired by Accoustic-Guitar music are only instrumental.

Luki is also known as “Abyssus”, the Bass-player of the Black-Metal Band “Schwarzkristall”. Another band where he is involved, is the crust punk band “Indoctrinate”. Both bands are from Austria.

Deprecation is working again on the material, so there is something coming…

PSILOCYBE LARVAE was formed in January of 1996 in Vyborg. Having gone through several major line-up changes during the bands existence, the only person who remained in the band is the permanent leader Vitaly Belobritsky.

After the first demo “Liar” Psilocybe Larvae entered into professional studio in 2007 where the song called “Death Is Not the End” was recorded for “Russian Alternative Extreme Music” compilation released in 1998.

In summer of 2000 the band recorded a full-length album called “Stigmata” and released it in demo format. In December German “Legacy” magazine called “Stigmata” demo of the month. A year later “Stigmata” was released by Black Side productions on CD.

In autumn of 2002 PL took part in a Russian tribute to Manowar with a song “Blood Of  The Kings” and recorded the song “Karma Of The World” for tribute to Chimera (Russian hardcore cult band). But the main event of 2002 was the recording of band’s second album called “Agony”. In the beginning of 2003 the album was released by Black Side Productions.

In 2005 both albums were re-released by one of the biggest labels in Russia called CD-Maximum. Albums were re-mastered at Remasters Studio by Mike Hall and included bonus tracks. At the same time the situation inside the band was going from bad to worse for many reasons and the band were forced to relocate to St.Petersburg. After many troubles the band got a new bassist and a keyboardist and at last the line-up was completed. So we’ve turned the new page of our life.

After a Ukrainian tour in autumn of 2006 the band entered DDT Records for the 3rd album recording in January, 2007. New album called “Non-existence” was mixed at Studio Hertz (Poland) and mastered at Cutting Room (Sweden). It was released in February of 2008 in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus via Moscow label Mazzar/Mystic Empire. In March the band headlined Russian tour to support new album and took part in Creative Breath of Death tour of Belarus.

In 2009 Psilocybe Larvae have signed a deal with Dark Harvest Records for the “Non-existence” worldwide release.

So, there’s a lot more metal to come…

1.When was DE formed?

We started in December 09 after playing together since August 09 under another name. The new direction and content of our music called for a name change. Decimated Existence was formed as a result of this and shortly there after we entered the studio to record our Cycle of Decent demo.

2.Who were the incorporators of band?
We were all proprietors in contributing to the founding of Decimated Existence.
3. What is the nucleus of DE?
Four dedicated individuals coming together with similar ideas and visions creating music from the soul trying to relay an important message with our music and lyrical content.

4.You adopted new drummer and changed direction of music. What do u want to change and why?
We all had wanted to play a faster, more technical style of death metal and with our new drummer we have the ability to play what we had wanted to play for awhile now. This was another factor in initiating our name change.

5.What is your lyrics about?
Our lyrics are about the esoteric manipulation of humanity since ancient times dealing with subjects such as Atlantis, secret societies, control of religion, global domination and reaching the higher consciousness.

6.Can you tell us the worst criticism of the band?
So far we have had very positive feedback from everyone. We have gained a lot of new fans and are reaching people from all across the world thanks to the popularity of social networking on the Internet.

7.If yes, are you agree with that?
We accept all criticism in a constructive manner, so we welcome all opinions.

8.Any last words?
We would really like to encourage people to go out and educate yourself on the happenings in the world today. Getting knowledgeable on these things will help arm you for the unbalanced future that lies ahead. We sincerely hope you enjoy our music and message. Thanks for your support. -Decimated Existence
